Onward To Week Five

Two more weeks left of the transfer. I'm already excited to see what's gonna happen next.

I'll make this email short today, we are going on a hike early this morning so that will be fun. a member is taking all the missionaries.
I'm pretty excited.

Well, this week was kind of a slow week but that's fine. I am playing the piano for a special relief society activity that is happening this coming Saturday, so I've been doing rehearsals and practicing as much as I can for that.

We had a good lesson with a less active named Sister Jolley. She is such a sweetie, she's older and even though she has a testimony of the church, she won't do anything with it. She tries hard to have that faith, she just doesn't act on it. We read the Book of Mormon with her and she loves it. I love her.

We had MLC this week, and I was able to see a lot of old friends that I hadn't seen in so long. It was awesome. I hope it was my last mlc though. As much fun as I've had being a sister training leader, I'm kind of ready to drop and just be a regular missionary. I just wanna be senior companion my last three transfers. We will see.

I got a priesthood blessing this week by one of my ward mission leaders, Brother Young. I really needed it. I am so grateful for the priesthood, I would not be here today without it. If you ever need a blessing, GET ONE. You won't regret it.

We went on exchanges Saturday! I went to Nevada City with Sister Rosa, who is the cutest Indonesian I've ever met. She is also the only Indonesian I've ever met. We had a lesson with an old Catholic lady named Marlene who was the sweetest person I have ever met in my life.
She is 83 and she is from a family that had ten kids. She made sure to tell us that at least five times. Oh my gosh she is so cute, she kept saying she would never convert to Mormonism but what she doesn't know is that she can be converted in the spirit world. She probs will. I can't wait to see her in the afterlife. I love old people so much.

Sunday was kind of long, as much as I love the Lake of the Pines ward and Alta Sierra ward, I am also ready to stop covering two wards. I am so worn out on Sunday's that I come home and take a two hour nap.

I am enjoying my mission a lot, but I am also getting to the point where I am just tired. Not physically, mostly mentally and spiritually. I'm gonna keep working and doing what I can though, my 14 month mark is this week. Pray for me y'all. I haven't killed anyone yet so that's a huge accomplishment.

I am so grateful for the prayers that have been given on my behalf.
This week was very difficult for me. I have felt your prayers as I learn to take it one second at a time.

I love you all so much.

Love,
Caroline
