Happy Fall Y'all 2012

Fall is such a beautiful season and also one of my favorites. Our family has been busy enjoying this season with lots of activities.

From participating in my very first 5k to taking my parents to vote, it has been exciting. Notice the awesome costumes my kids put together. I spent a total of 10.00 on everything. They did the rest.

November is Gregg and Melanie's birthday. Happy birthday! Mel gets her permit today.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving everyone. I know I have so very much to be thankful for.

Fun in DC

I was able to attend a special field trip with Hannah's class to Washington D.C. on Friday. It was lots of fun and the weather was perfect. Here are just a few pictures of things we saw.
Hannah will always remember this and I am grateful we could go and make memories together.

Till We Meet Again

With great sorrow I was released today as the Young Women's President in our ward. I will miss these wonderful sweet daughters of God. This calling was extremly demanding but more so rewarding and I love it dearly. I now know that I must really focus on my own girls and helping them more to grow in the gospel. I have a feeling that I am not done in Young Women and I will return some day. But until then, God be with you till we meet again.

MARCHiing Through Time

Hannah sure was awesome in her all county performance. Her school did a cute routine Jump, Jive and Wail. She looks great in her poodle skirt!!

This is our new pet Chloe. So far she is a very good cat and is very sweet.

Melanie's first dance was a formal. Caroline showed her the ropes and they both had a blast!

Kimberly has lost her first teeth. Wow is she growing up fast!!
This is just a little catch up with our fun happenings and activites going on in the Ginn household. We are certainly MARCHing quickly through time.

Heroes

This past month two people I know have found out that they have cancer. The first friend found out before Christmas that she had stage three lung cancer. The other friend found out that she had breast cancer. Deana(she has the same name as me) my friend with lung cancer was able to go into surgery in Januarey and have one entire lung removed to rid her cancer. She made it through surgery and is doing quite well with one lung helping her breathe. She is an amazing sweet sister whom I admire so very much. The other friend Audree is going through surgury today Valentine's Day and she is having a masectomy on her left breast. I pray that all goes well and surgery will be a sucess. Each friend has a true testimony of the gospel and each friend has relied on Heavenly Father and our Savior Jesus Christ for help in their times of need. They are true heroes in my eyes and I am grateful to know them in this lifetime.
