Pushing On

Our family still continues to pray for Gregg to get a solid job or any work along the way. We are not sure what Heavenly Father has in store for us. We will continue to have faith and "PUSH ON" through each day trying hard to count our blessing and have a good attitude. This is one of the hardest things I have been though yet. The Lord's Time is what I keep telling myself. I also keep hearing the word "Patience." I have always thought that I had lots of it, maybe not. Maybe I need to develop more. Sorry for the depressing post.Maybe the next one will be more upbeat. I will look forward to General Conference so I can be uplifted and feel the wonderful spirit that come from each session. I am so grateful to be a member of The Church of Jesus Chirst o f Latter Day Saints. Because I have the knowledge that comes from the gospel, it has helped me see the big picture and know that one day I can live with my family throughout eternity. That is a wonderful comfort to me especially when I have trials.

Deana,
I love and admire you so much, and I always have. You know why you have hard trials- because the Lord KNOWS you can handle them!

Something that has hit home to me lately with loosing my grandma, and having our own economic problems is that this IS only a short moment. We have so much to learn here on earth, and the trials I face always keep me more in tune with the Lord and His will. When I thought of it that way, it gave me more peace and hope. Last year I wasn't in this mindset, I was more in the mindset of " Why Me Lord?" so of course I was asked to give a Sacrament talk on "How Trials can be blessings." I think it was Henry B Eyring that said "to give thanks to the Lord for your trials." I laughed out loud when I first read that, but as I pondered it, I realized he was right. The Lord only gives us what we can handle and usually He gives it to us because we will become a stronger person when it is through.
I know you Deana, You are a very strong person, and a servant of the Lord. Your family is so blessed to have you. I know the Lord loves you, and even though things happen "in His time" I know He will not forget you and your sweet family. I can hardly wait to hear what is in store for your family! Something great I am sure!
Sorry for the long sermon, this is a subject I struggle with myself, so it was for me too! :+) I love you, and your family will always be in my prayers. I will even fast for you tomorrow. Keep smiling! :+)

Deana, you are one of the strongest people I know. Your faith in trial is only more proof of that. I loved Elder Joseph B Wirthlin's talk in last conference, "Come What May and Love It". I know that the Lord will compensate your family for any loss in His own way and His own time. Your family has stood faithful and He will not desert you in your time of need. As you are refined in this trial you will be even more fruitful in his kingdom and worthy of even greater blessings that He has in store for you.

You are amazing Deana. Your family has been through so much already and your faith has not ever been shaken. I know there is something out there for you guys. Patience is hard but, in the end will be so worth it. I am sure. We'll pray for you all. Heavenly Father has something wonderful in store for your family.

I'm so with these people....good words of support and advice. Of course this is one of your top trials, yet -- this is a very difficult trial, so don't expect perfection in yourself -- you, too, are human, my friend! I agree with Stacy very much...your faith and strength are strong, so they are being tested. You'll just develop more through this trial, and you'll also be able to understand this particular challenge, and then be able to support others who experience it. Love and prayers for you guys!
